    Interview with Adam Goodes

This quote in particular I like.....

Do you aspire to be a club leader?

Definitely. With Paul Kelly, Andrew Dunkley, Wayne Schwass, Tony Lockett and Troy Luff leaving, we need blokes stepping up. After signing a five-year deal a month ago until 2008, I'd like to be seen around the place as someone people look up to.
....so Luffy was part of the old leadership group?? The Fans always knew that!!

Leigh Matthews in todays Hun looks at Sydney's goal kicking accuracy - says basically we won't keep winning because our goalkicking cannot remain as accurate as it currently is.

Roosy seems to be talking down Sydney's finals chances

Another quote about Adam from the Hun....

Goodes, 23, has set his sights on a leadership role with the Swans after last month re-signing for five years until 2008.
At least FIVE more years eh?? Great stuff!

And while he would love to captain Sydney one day, Goodes pointed to a couple of teammates, Jude Bolton and Tadhg Kennelly, as future leaders. He paid the ultimate compliment to Bolton by drawing compariso ns with club great Paul Kelly.

"He's the next Paul Kelly ... his attack on the ball, the way he trains, his professionalism," Goodes said.

"It is a big wrap, but the way he runs through packs and tackles is so like Paul Kelly."

Interesting given the bagging Bolton has recieved from many how highly Goodes rates him.

Guess why Bolts used to have that 'FSC' tag very good to see some future leaders coming through.

Must say Goodes is a bit of a surprise as a leader

When I read that it seemed like Matthews was saying we've fluked our wins, that we've been lucky to kick so accurately. Sounds like a poor loser to me.
