Membership Question

Re Melbourne Membership the money was taken from my account the first week of December. People who paid their membership at the family day receied their Advantage card there and then to use for purchases, but I haen't even received the Advantage card yet, probably could have asked for it on the day but I wasn't spending!

I have received the pack from the Sydney membership, but have heard nothing from the Melbourne one.

No I haven't heard back yet from the Melbourne office but am not worried as the stuff turns up later from past experience.

Don't worry, Melbourne has yet to receive their membership packs yet.

As every membewrship card now has to unique barcode which needs to sync'd with the AFL and it's venues for entry the cards take longer and longer to get out each year.

Oh for the old days when you just had to have the card clipped by the gate attendant.

Firstly, check your credit card bill to see if they debited you the amount for your premiership club membership as opposed to your old membership - I took the upgrade for next year as well, and saw it on dad's bill that the money had come out so I knew I'd got it.

Secondly, if you still have your renewal forms, there's a number to ring to ask questions etc - give them a call because they had trouble getting everyone's packs out cos there were so many this time around (gotta love the bandwagon!) and some got missed - yours may be one of them, so if you talk to them they can just have a new one sent out to you.

Melbourne members get their membership packs in Feb..Sydney members should already have theirs....I know this cause my sister in sydney got hers so i rang about mine, me living in melb and they told me feb...

I have checked my credit card bill, but I can't remember what the difference in price was between Premiership and Full Club. I'm paying by installments.

I've chucked all my renewal stuff out. I'm the messiest person alive and a horder to boot, but for some bizarre reason I had the urge to purge a month ago and chucked a whole lot of stuff out. Bad idea.

Sounds like most Sydney members have received something though....none of my family have and we've got 8 memberships all sitting together. Have they forgotten us? I think I will give them a call.

Yesterday I made a trip to the Melbourne office and bought my membership. I was told that the membership stuff should be arriving in the mail early in February.

I received my preliminary membership pack in todays mail. Interestingly, no stickers about being reigning premiers. Perhaps the club wants to downplay it to attempt to avoid any type of premiership hangover and get the team really focussed on the job of winning back to back in 2006 and by doing so, become the greatest team in the history of SFC/SMFC.
