Jarred Ilett from Belconnen Magpies won the Mulrooney Medal, Paul Grayling (something like that) from Ainslie won the player of the year, Tim Schmidt was 2nd in the player of the year (no sure if Swans players are eligible for the Mulrooney but don't know where I heard that). McVeigh also polled well in the player of the year. Details are probably available on the Canberra AFL website.

      I like Luke Vogels.
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

        I'd say Luke, or McVeigh.
I didn't realise how young McVeigh is!

I've never see personally seen him train but I hear that Josh Willoughby plays very smoothly..

          Where's Emilio Estevez...?

                      Malceski. Great disposal by foot.

What is the meaning of JMcV's low vote? Do people not think he can step up to the next level?
Or does it reflect on opinion that he will take longer still to develop?

Given that he's been playing in the seniors (and struggling to hold his spot) for two seasons now, I was surprised that he even qualified for this poll.

It's not often that I predict something about a reserves player (in fact never before) but I am pleased to say I stated Malceski had very good foot skills prior to his first game (and may hvae been one of the first to say so)!

He was also my 'lovechild' at the beginning of 2004.

I picked Mal, closely followed by Moore.
