    LA story had happy ending

    Article

Interesting to read what the club was trying to get out of this trip with regards to senior players and new boys to the club getting to work closer together than they would have otherwise. Hopefully that will translate where it matters most in terms of development of these new players more quickly. Also good to read that the club didn't feel like they drafted any duds.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I think it's a great idea getting the younger guys to bunk with the older guys. Hopefully it will help them feel more a part of the whole group. I think that the bond that the players have went a long way to bringing us the flag. It's good to see it encouraged amoung the new recruits.

Bunking with Kirk could be dangerous.

I hope Nick Davis wasn't handing out relationship tips.

Over the years I have heard countless stories of a coach asking someone at training "who is that guy over there".

In other words the new recruits who were not going to be in the equation that year. I sure way of quickly creating disenchantment.

Obviously doesn't happen in Sydney. They clearly have a program in place to quickly integrate players and making them feel that they belong.

The way it is I hope Roos coaches us for another 20 years.

Isn't he a St Kilda fan? Does Kirk has anything in common with St Kilda?

Apparently Kirk went the pash, and slipped the tongue in at a function a few years back. (may have been the brownlow)

Sounds like something Merv Hughes would have done

Oh, so there's no proof of anything. ScottH you have no proof. You should be ashamed of yourself to spread those gossips.
