    Brett Kirk

It's time to acknowledge this bloke.

Week in, week out this year, Kirky has been in our best dozen or so. He's one of the most valuable players you can have: A decent tagger who gets it a bit himself.

Well done Kirky.... an unsung hero.

Brereton gave him third best on ground today.

Kirk is having a great season.

Always promised but never strung enough together now he has started to do what we all hoped he could. Goodluck to the guy he is a real example of perseverance. Hope the younger guys are taking his lead.

I've noticed that he's played much better the last few games. He certainly is in there and going for it.

IMHO he would be in top 3 in the B&F so far this season. He might not do the spectacular stuff that gets him noticed, but the B&F is where the little things are rewarded, such as sacrificing your own game to tag an opposition star. He is having a great season and is probably one of the first picked!

I felt that today's performance was his most "attacking" game all
season , he did less tagging .

His work out of the centre was brilliant again

Johhny Roberts (his fierciest critic) what do you think ?

I wonder who the dynamic duo Crouch and Kirk take. ?

                      Sorry for the typo

should have read - who will Kirk and Crouch take next week against the Kanga's

                      Crouch on Harvey ?

                      Kirk on Simpson ?

The Captain took charge of the midfield today and showed real leadership. Spot on Roscoe, most attacking game he has had this season.

He played a terrific game. Has anyone else noticed that appears to have little awareness of what is happening around him when he has the ball? It seems he has a type of tunnel vision and often gets caught in possession when he has had oodles of time to get rid of the ball. He just doesn't see the tackles coming. It happened twice today in the third quarter when he was in the centre and running towards our goal. There was one time when Jason Ball was 5 metres from him and he still didn't get rid of the ball. It was hard to see but Ball must surely have told him to get rid of it as Ball was looking in the direction of the oncoming tackel.

Guilty as charged- I have to admit that Kirk has been in our top 10-12 this year and is earning his spot.

I never qestioned his "stopping" ability (has taken some big scalps)- but more his offensive skills- which he has improved.

Great game again today- but if I was to be critical - he got caught holding it 3-4 times - just needs to get boot to ball quicker. But again his overall game well and truly made up for the blemishes.

Hats off to Kirk and hats off to Roos for showing faith.
