I walked in late in the last quarter so I haven't got much information apart from the Swans Magoos winning by about 2 goals - wasn't much in it. Nicks and McVeigh definitely played.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I saw most of the game and Belconnen took it right up to the Swans . From memory , Nicks and Mc Veigh bagged 3 goals each . I am now a convert to McVeigh's cause. When I first saw him play I thought that the club had made a major mistake in recruiting him. But he has steadily improved and showed some real skills today. One goal that he potted was a super effort . A little more muscle and he could prove to be very good at the top level.WMPComment

I came in during the second half to see O'Keefe continually squander oppurtunities, a really dud part that i saw. What appened to Benny Fixter, saw little of him, if at all. Mcveigh played extremely well and Ablett seemed to have found some skill. Nicks looked ok without impressing. No real urge to play senior footy again- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!Comment
