Some of those girls may never forget the image of seeing LRT in his speedos. These things cause life long damage. For example, I am still traumatised by the Ablett and Cousins goal square thing.

I got over the Ablett mishap as soon as Baz lifted the Premiership Cup. If Seeing LRT in speedos could be traumatic for these girls I hope to god they were not watching when Sammy Newman got daked in the most horrific way possible. Now thats traumatic

I thought it was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while! Maybe not entirely appropriate, but still damn funny, which is something there isn't always a lot of in the world these days.

I can remember this sort of thing happening at my school on numerous occasions - mates deciding to pull a prank on one of their own, and having it escalate through a series of jokes that left the guys all laughing just as hard as each other, no matter who got pranked or who did the pranking. There was never anything malicious in it, and us girls always saw the funny side of it, rather than being horrified at seeing a guy in his undies or boxers. And given the way many adolescent males walk around today with their outerpants halfway down their thighs so as to expose their classy underpants, what's the fuss about a bloke in speedos? Many of those girls will have seen far worse!

As to the Daily Terror, clearly someone forgot to take their happy pills when they wrote that particular editorial... Get a life, or at least a sense of humour!

The funniest part of this whole saga has been hearing the plethora of pronunciations of "Tadhg" on the TV and Radio. I swear, I've heard at least five different names, and not one was correct.

                  Can you blame them?

Maybe on Tadhg's profile page, there should be a sound clip to assist you in pronouncing his name right.
Like on those dictionary.com pages where there's a soundclip that correctly pronounces each word.

Yes - It's quite simple really. Tiger without the 'r'. Hardly need a sound clip for that.

It's kind of funny, actually. LRT said he didn't have an embarrassing moment, so Tadhg kindly provided him with one.

Sure, it was dumb and immature, but also relatively harmless compared to some of the other stories about footballers misbehaving. Wrong time and place, though.

I must say that with Nick "a girlfriend for every season" Davis and now this, it's been an entertaining off-season.

Seriously if you think about it, it's not that big a problem...Tadhg was just pulling a prank. Yes, I agree it was inappropriate but it was just a stupid prank...not like Craig Gower who turned up at the charity golf thing drunk, and who groped a teenage girl.

And with Nick Davis, it's not his fault a psycho rang up and told the media.
It's such a tiny little thing compared to the Gower incident and yet it managed to get onto page 3 of the newspaper the next morning...

Funny how the next day after the incident there is a story on how the swans will substantially increase their membership numbers from last year. Must be related. Good one Tadgh.

Well having read this article in my hotel room in Wollongong on Friday morning, I see that the teacher in the photo is actually laughing. One girl interviewed said it was "inappropriate" which it was - even a parent interviewed wasnt upset by it.

It seems that is was a slow news day at the Illawarra Mercury as this made front page news!

Yes it was stupid thing too do particularly in front of catholic school girls but I can tell you that not all of them are innocent angels either. However the Swans went into damage control straight away - went back to the school twice and apologised. Tadgh faced the media and accepted the blame fully - took total responsibility for his actions.

Now can the same be said about the union & league codes?

I heard MIke Gibson on the radio yesterday - and whilst I dont normally agree with him - what he said made sense. Tadgh is being used a scapegoat in this situation. When you compare what League players have done in the past - and they deny flat out what they have done and their clubs will do what ever it takes to protect their precious over paid idiots until the evidence comes out that prove's otherwise. Or they blame someone else for their actions - really Tadgh Dacking LRT is nothing in the greater scheme of things. It is not rape, or drunken and abusive behaviour, groping someone other than your fiance at a charity golf tournament - its a storm in a teacup.

And I'd say that Tadgh was coping a bit of flack from the lads on Thursday night as he was getting text message after text message from team mates (Pebbles was doing it quite a bit)

We do know that Roosy is big on accountability, so this should really come as no surprise.

Is it possible that Sydney were trying to prove a point to the other codes?

If so then they have done a remarkable job PR wise, with a hands down win over the other codes as you point out Wardy.
