    The fitness report

    The fitness report

Every year this article appears and it always seems a bit of a fluff piece. However, IIRC, this same piece highlighted Dempster and Bevan in the past two years respectively as the ones who had trained the house down throughout the preseason. They each came from obscurity, Dempster less so, to play most of the season and make an impact on the team.

While the usual suspects are mentioned in Kirk, Fosdike, Ablett, Spriggs () and Dempster as well, the one inclusion that pleases me most is the inclusion of Heath Grundy in this article.

Heath Grundy is one player that we elevated from our rookie list to our senior list who looks to be holding himself pretty well at this time of the year, so he has been going well.
The quote is not very informative at all but I would suggest that come Rd 1, 2 or 3 the inclusion of Heath Grundy should not come as a surprise.

Only with injury to a key forward is my guess...maybe not even then. Richards might be first backup, then Vogels...Grundy next
    Staying ahead of the game...

After watching them train Schneids looks even fitter this year too - more toned and built as well.
I think O'Keefe may have taken over from Spriggs and Fosdike as the fittest of the group - he was killing them. And then did a few another 3 laps when everyone had finished.
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

I would have thought Tadgh would be doing the extra laps as punishment for his ahem ... indescretion. Thats what happened to me in the U/9 when we were bad, we did laps.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
