Who should take the majority of them?

Nick Davis when he is down there.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

We really should go straight down the middle more. The last time I saw it happen was 10 pts down against WC in the QF and they scored a point, we desperately needed a goal, and got it by going the length of the field from the kick out through Schneider to put us within a kick.

Interesting questions ROK, but too many at once makes my head hurt.

The thing that killed me about that is it was the only kick in that Nicky D took all year and look what happened!

Didn't remember who took that kick in - thought it may have been Davis.

But they should do that more often!

Nick D or Nog...they could both shoot for goal from there

Kick it to either, who in turn bang it forward.

That would work too, Or one kick it to the other on the wing and bang GOAL...Oh well we can always dream

Dempster's got a bit of a boot on him too.

Will be interesting to see how the rule change affects this. My guess is that banging it up the middle won't be that effective because the opposition will gather numbers there if they can't get back to form a defensive zone. A midfield zone will make it harder to pinpoint a pass.

My guess is that you'll see an immediate short pass to a defender who will then try to play on immediately and run the ball a fair way up the ground. Kennelly is probably the best equipped to do this, which means he may not be the best option to take the kick-ins. Indeed, if a team is trying to play on quickly, it will need all the defenders to be comfortable taking kick-ins so that the closest one to the posts can start play rolling.

The defensive 50 (too many choices there for a poor pun that I couldn't decide).
