Message to All Clubs, Players Seniors/Juniors and Others on the BDAFL email list
From : Harry Beitzel.
I need your HELP.
On Thursday night June 5 at Mingara Rec. Club Kevin Sheedy and father and son Craig and Nick Davis are the Barassi Club Guest Speakers.
The Cost to Players, Senior and Junior, their coaches, parents and family is $25 p. hd. buy your own drinks. Others @ $45 p. hd. buy your own drinks.
It is important we get a big roll up as Kevin Sheedy has changed his plans especially to be with us at this Barassi Club function. Sheeds has a special message for all the Juniors and Parents in attendance.
I'm sending this email to all who are on the lists supplied to me by Greg Stewart. Unfortunately not all Coaches are listed so please pass on this information so in turn the Coaches can tell the players at training.
Our BDAFL Footy Record will not be distributed to most clubs for rounds six and seven as the rain washed out most fixtures for Round 6 and there are NO BDAFL games the next week because of the Representative game at Wagga Wagga against the Riverina. This means the publicity for Sheeds night is severely restricted. Hopefully my Press Release and this email will help overcome this problem.
I offered at the Swansea meeting in March to talk to all Junior Clubs. Only two have requested and I would like to do more for the Juniors.
Ron Barassi, Kevin Sheedy and I agree our future growth is through the kids.
You have a vital role to perform if our game is to prosper in our area.
I've met most Senior and Reserve clubs in my "getting to know you visits."
We need more publicity, match reports, updated Player numbers and Stats for both the Senior and Junior section of the Record. Let's strive to fill six pages with the Juniors.
If you wish to be deleted from this list please advise me by return.
