I thought Leo had a good game. There was only one handball that he stuffed (in the last quarter) to Jason Ball. Every other possession of Leo's hit a target. There were a lot of other players that fumbled but they do not get targeted like Leo. I understand that all of you are entitled to your own opinion and I respect that. I just feel that leo is picked on and people always see the mistakes he makes and never the good things he does.

Leo set up a lot of play that results in goals from the backline but never ever gets any recognition. I watched the game again today and he set up about 3 or so goals in the second half from the backline and also kept Archer restricted.

Leo bounces it after two steps, like Davis, like Fozzy....WHY!!!!! It is not neessary, you have 15m or 10 steps (cant remember, someone please clarify) to go so why not run just short of the distance, then bounce. Bouncing so early takes away your vision and also gives your opponent a few metres to catch up
      - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

Dermie made some good comments on Barry in the 3rd qtr. After Barry had tried to run around three players and eventually gave it to Warfe (who of course turned it over), Brereton said that Hall should run the length of the field and clip him behind the ear.

Hall had been in space yet Barry wanted to take another bounce and run a bit more.

Brereton said he really liked the way Barry took on the opposition but he needs to recognise when not to overdo it (like trying to take 3 players on instead of just the 1) and look upfield for team mates in space.

Summed it up perfectly I thought.

Strangely though I don't think he EVER kicked the ball - always handballed!!

The only ordinary coach to take us to a Grand Final since 1945. Sorry, I can't stand anti-eadeites lol. He may have stayed too long at the Swans, but he aint an ordinary coach.

Doesn't know what team footy is. He is like a rabbit in the headlights.

Ah, dear Rodney, so thats where he is these days working for about .0001 of the ratings.

Goodes, Ball and Barry made plenty of mistakes, but you can put that down to the fact that they were having to work twice as hard to cover for so many of their team mates who went missing.

The defence did the job again, and kept the opposition to what should have been a losing score.

But the midfield without Cressa is feeble, and without Davis and O'Loughlin, the forward line is very one-dimensional and apparently pretty easy to match up on. Roos tried to spark things up by rotating LRT, Nicks, Stevens, Kennelly and even Powell through the forward line, but without success.

LRT looks impressive - good spring in the ruck, and might make a useful forward if he can tighten up his kicking.

How long before Doyle comes back?? We need him.
Strewth, continuous rebound. He didn't get a kick in the first half and racked up an impressive 2 handpasses in that time. He also had the brilliant stat for the game of "No Clearances". How could anyone give him 2 votes.

Yeah, you're right, he must have bribed all the experts to give him votes.

I actually took a bit of poetic licence before. He played most of the game at CHF not FB. But early in the 3rd quarter, when the game was still up for grabs, he went ON THE BALL!

He never actually touched the footy, but it seemed to do the trick, as Leongatha kicked right away to win by a mile.
