    Micky obviously likes Roos...

13 games under Roosy for 31 goals!! That's getting close to 2000 form, especially when you factor in that he's had a few injury problems.

I was just thinking about players who'd responded well to Roos, and after the obvious like Bolton and Kirk, I thought that the turnaround in Micky was very good.

I can't wait to see him in full flight, unhindered by injuries.

Interesting .... I was unhappy with Jude's progress in the back half of last year, but this year has been a huge improvement. Maybe it was an adjustment period?

    Wish Micky were back!

with that average and if he played a full 22 games, that would be 52 goals!

schneider, with 14 in 9 games and averaged over a season would be 34 goals

hall's average (since roosy took over = 14 games) over a season would be 66 goals

davis in the last 14 games averaged out over a season would be 33 goals

(i wanna see doyle play FF when he returns, with hall at CHF) so doyle in the last 7 games and averaged out over a season would be 38 goals

(i also wanna see goodes play HFF) goodes since roosy took over averaged over a season would be 24 goals

so with the forward line of

      hf: davis hall goodes
      ff: schneider doyle o'loughlin

the potential of goals kicked in a season from these 6 would be 247 goals!!! which is a total of 1482 points from the forward line alone... we all know how well our midfielders can kick goals... what a forward line!!!

Penga, I think that with all the players you mentioned being strong marking types, that having Goodes up forward is overkill when you consider how well he plays across the centre.

id play a 5.5 man forward line, with goodes allowed to roam freely up the ground, let him run his opponent into the ground and use him as a link man to the forward line... play goodes as a semi CHF/wingman/HFF... ie let him run around from about 30m out from goal to about 10m defensive side of the centre circle and anywhere in between

Fantastic forward line, could be only 5 weeks off once Doyle gets back from injury.
LRT + Schneids + The Mullett = hope for the future.
