    Crowd for Saturday night?

People are bandying around a figure of 50000 for Saturday night. Personally as much as I'd like to see it happen, I can't envisage it happening. Especially considering the live TV telecast and the continued crap weather we are experiencing.

40000 should be expected. 50000 should be aimed for.

Considering the CRAP promotion the game is getting (those old MCG codger ads), I'd not be surprised if we struggled to get 40000.

Purely and simply, the Swans are not on everybody's lips these days.

My gut feeling is 40,000 - but who knows... our biggest crowds in the last few years have been Essendon games - and we ARE in a hot bit of form right this minute...

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Has anyone been out there lately? Is the roof on the end yet?

It was originally promised by the start of the season, then mid-season which is where we are now!

I was actually out that way for the netball last friday night, but totally forgot to check!! I'm pretty sure the roof at the Superdome end wasn't completed, or I would have noticed!!

Wasn't the plan to finish one end at a time?

Did Sydney happen to lose that match by chance Mr Lee?

No roofs on the ends until next year. They wont even be in place for the RU world cup, just the extra seats

The Essendon game's usually the biggest crowd for the year, even though it always rains. And being in the long weekend, more people are coming up from Melbourne.
And the Swans are doing very well at the moment. 45,000 is definately achievable.
