This information is for anyone travelling from north of Hornsby to the game on Saturday.
As you may know already, there will be no trains running between Newcastle and Central (via Strathfield).
Please note that none of the coaches coming down from the Central Coast and Newcastle will stop at Strathfield. They will go straight to Central. Gosford to Central trip will take 2 hours.
You will all have to get off at Hornsby and catch the ROUTE 47 Express Coach to Strathfield.
The estimated trip from Gosford to Hornsby will be 60 minutes. The express coach to Strathfield Train Station will take about 30 minutes.
I have contacted Swans Membership to see if they could persuade CityRail to run express coaches from Hornsby to Telstra Stadium directly. Daniel was going to see what he could do but I'd be planning for a multiple change trip. Cityrail wouldn't be capable seeing the problem that will occur at Hornsby with everyone changing buses.
Your other alternative is to drive to Dural, Cherrybrook, Thompson's Corner or another Special Event Bus location, pay $10 for a direct trip to Olympic Park.

Newcastle & Central Coast Line
2.00am Saturday 7 June until 2.00am Tuesday 10 June
Buses will replace Newcastle and Central Coast Line trains in both directions between Newcastle and Sydney. A regular train service will operate between Hornsby and the City via the North Shore Line.
Please allow an extra travel time of 45 minutes.

All stations Ourimbah to Gosford, then Berowra, Hornsby, Central and return.
Route 200
Woy Woy, Koolewong, Tascott, Point Clare, Berowra, Hornsby, Central and return.
