    How the hell did we win?

    When we made so many massive clangers (dropped marks, OOF, kicking to opposition etc) AND we couldn't pick the bloody thing up for a quarter and a half AND we were slaughtered in the ruck (except when Bazza went against Stafford)

    Me thinks that we might actually be alright then. Watch out whoever is against us when we finally put it together!

    So amazing to see us do the hard simple things with such discipline. The number of times they got first hands to the ball but couldn't get it OUT was fantastic.

    LOVED seeing Sunny on the bottom of packs and dishing off great balls by hand and foot.

          I reckon our defenders did the main job. Craig Bolton demolished Mathew Richardson, who is twice as big as him.

          I definitely reckon it was the defenders (with Saddo missing too).
          Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
          Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal

              You can't play champagne footy every week. Sometimes you just have to graft a win.

              Some may be overlooking the weather on that night. Sure there was some fumbling, but it was drizzling or pissing down a fair bit there - and even before the start the track was a bit greasy.

              Richmond have one of the better defences - it was always going to be an arm wrestle early. What I liked, was that THEY seemed to be holding US back, not the other way around.

              Not bad for a bunch of kids.

                      Easy, we kicked straighter and Nick Davis
                      Have to pay that one, you can say what you like about Davis but his phenomenal conversion rate has won us games IMO. When (not if, I don't believe he can keep it up forever and will have off days) he starts missing them, feel very afraid.

                          We won because we wanted it more than they did. Simple as that. Richo is also cracking the ****s in the 1st quarter also helped because Richmond play as good as Richo does and with him down we were never in doubt.
