    O'Loughlin and Cressa to play!

EXPERIENCED Sydney AFL stars Michael O'Loughlin and Daryn Cresswell were today cleared to face Essendon at Telstra Stadium tomorrow night.

Midfielder Cresswell and forward O'Loughlin had missed two and three games respectively with calf injuries, but both came through training this morning with coach Paul Roos declaring them right to play.

Back Jason Saddington, who missed the last three rounds with a quad injury, pulled up sore after training this morning and will not play in the reserves this weekend.

The Swans enter the round in sixth place on 24 points, four above the Bombers who started the round in 10th.

Today club officials were hoping for a crowd of between 40,000 and 45,000 for the game which is being promoted as a celebration of indigenous football with the Marn Grook trophy up for grabs.

Officials today also revealed they had received about 20 applications, including some from overseas, for the position of chief executive.

The applications were received even before the appointment of a leading international recruitment agency.
