Terry Wallace

What are peoples thoughts on how Terry Walace would have shaped the Swans should he have become the head coach ??
Who would have found favour ?? who would be out of the team by now ?? would he have played the kids ?? What kind of public image would he present ?
and most interestingley where would we be on the ladder by now. And would he have a better shot @ getting us the ultimate prize than P. Roos ??

I think he was too similar to Eade with his style and hence wouldn't have had the profound effect Roos has had.

The players are more relaxed now and seem to be enjoying themselves a lot more.

Why do people keep saying he was similar to Eade. Did no one watch 'Dogs games when they would string large numbers of goals together in a rush and you could never write them off.

Under Wallace, despite what some people seem to think, the 'Dgos were one of the highest scoring teams in the comp. I put the stats up on RWO last year when this debate was going on.

As for the young players, I don't see why he wouldn't have played them seeing as the 'Dogs team was chockers full of them.

Why is this an issue? Roos has won 13 of 21 games. If that had occurred all last year, we'd have been in 4th spot, ahead of C'wood.

He's doing fine, we don't have to think about Wallace.

If Wallace was coaching we would have had a lot of over the top comment from him alah Peter Schwab. Terry Wallace's style is more about promoting the Terry Wallace profile than the team's.

He was always grooming himself for a media job and managed to weasel his way into the Melbourne media clique while he was coaching.Was genuinely the media darling of the Melbourne coaches.

Wallace would of been BIG BAD NEWS for the club and players in particular. Wallace is into yelling and screaming with that hoarse throat of his. Pulling players down - I can still remember some of his scenes for the media.
Wallace is about self and selft promotion.
On his supposed payout - I am wondering how much the smokey has been pushed our way - and may of been part of the Carlton spend up. He was also understood to have been interviewed for them at some restaurant - so hope it turns out that is who is paying him out.

We have Roos and we're doing pretty damn good. Far better than the critics gave us credit for. Nudging a few of us to dream!!

He's a keeper in my opinion!

If it comes out that there was a deal done with Wallace, then it would appear that people power actually made a difference. And from that, I believe that Roos would know that the fans are all behind him and he has more than proven himself and shown anyone who did a deal behind his back that they were wrong. Well and truly wrong.
