he seemed to be in contention for a title fight last night...always niggling, jabbing ,pushing and making terror on his opponent(s).(or, was it the other way around?)
It was wonderful but does not appear on the TV .He is a champ and does so much heavy work on and off the ball to relieve Jude and W illiams in particular.

Looked like he took the angry pills last night.... but then again, the bombers wore their opponents like a rash. Cupido tried roughing up Tiger, McVeigh came in late often and Solomon gave away that stupid penatly in their forward 50 (right in front of me). All very amusing

sheeds matches lethal leigh with his support of the late tackles,head hunting and general roughing up opponents...usually illegal and behind play.Umps ignored it last night and our boys seemed to handle it well although Jude came in for some pretty filthy play.

Protection of the player with the ball has really dropped off I reckon. I thought there were about 6 50m penalties that were missed last night.

I agree, the umpires swallowed their whistles again - this time we missed some frees but we got away with a couple of things too. The trouble with this style of umpiring is that the game degenerates into thugism. Please refer to this thread to counter the "you only whine about the umps when we lose" claims.

ill take all those 50m potentials for the missed call of lucas being legged, it was right in front of us and my mate (essendon supporter) was shouting "WHO IS GONNA CALL IT???!!!" we got some momentum after that missed call coz the turnover turned into a goal...

it usually evens out in the end

just one of the reasons I HATE the bombers...another is their supporters...how on earth do they get into the Swans members reserve...sheesh...two of the last three Bombers matches we've had to put up with a******e Bomber supporters sitting near us...they're very narky when you go on about pretty boy Hird, gouger Rioli or suggest there's plenty of time to pop to the loo and get back between Lloyd taking a mark and having his shot...
