WE beat Ainslie something like 93-50. Stevens played down back-did well. Dempster, Thewlis and Amon all looked good but Powell was an obvious stand out. Mcpherson looked old but most of the fills in did their part

good to hear powell did good

maybe as far as matchup goes, it should be powell on bowden, barry on johnson, bolton on brown...

              all good matchups IMO
              C'mon Chels!

                more matchups:

                crouch on garlick
play kirk at HFF to tag rohan smith... ive watched a couple of dogs games this season and he has been the standout player IMO

try and get goodes one out with darcy and have goodes run off him at every opportunity

play cresswell on west and the rest should fall into place
                C'mon Chels!

Might be time to bring back MJ (for LRT) to go up against Darcy.

                    Saw the reserves.

Powell stood out, as did S Stevens - McVeigh looked classy don't know if he dominated the game though
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

                      Penga,

Not sure if Kirk has the speed to go with "bubba" smith

                      Crouch maybe a better option.

                      Maybe Kirk on West

                      Garlick is overated.

Who would take Brad Johnson - Tiger

Who would take Nathan Brown -Leo , ? CB ?

If Goodes can go with Darcy, who is down on last year, Ball should have a picnic

We have struggled in past games against the Dogs when we have tried to match their roughouse tactics.

                      Lets play our own game

he is in the top 5 goal scorers for the doggies therefore thinking thatd be good for crouch to go on him

i also agree with JM on darcy, maybe play a two man ruck ball up with goodes in for the ruck contest who then becomes the on-baller and use JM to tag darcy (crazy thought i know)

Why not send Joshy Thewlis on Darcey. He is out of form and would be an easy learning curve. Probably sounds like a really dumb idea but he was extemely impressive in the ressies

I meant bring MJ in to strenghten our ruck against Darcy - not for a one-on-one. Ball will be competitive - but will need backup. IMO Goodes' ruck form is poor - or rather sometimes he just isnt tall enough.
