Unlike Pies fans we can actually handle losing in Sydney.

I'm quietly confident we can pull off the biggest upset of the year. Port are the top side, there will be a big crowd. We have NOTHING to lose.

If we go down, so be it. But nobody said we'd beat Collingwood Brisbane or Essendon either, right.

I'm not sure what our cheer-squad heroes finally came up with (I really liked the one about the Snowtown barrels)... but the last bit of this email from my Port buddy was pretty funny:

"Judging by the banner the cheer squad have come up with you guys don't stand a chance.

Of course I can't tell you what it is cos then I'd have to kill you.

Oh good grief, the typo on the slogan on the back of the banner is bad enough but the running commentary about how it should be spelt is unbearable!"
