    Bugger!

West Coast beat Brisbane by 11 goals! If this had been the other way around, we would have been number 3 so we slip a spot.

And Brissie lose their #1 spot to Port.

A short term backward step but in the long term it could be better for Sydney.

We can now get ahead of all teams above us by beating them ourselves. Our future is now in our OWN hands. We don't need any other upset results.

yep. a bit disappointing for the short term but better overall IF we keep winning..... we are only a game off the top.

Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

Don't worry. Hoping for others to have bad results is negative thinking. Think more about taking the chances we can control ourselves.

I reckon we're looking good. We only have one team a game ahead of us, and two only half a game ahead of us. One bad week for them and a goodun for us and we're on top!

Helping us is the fact that the teams out of the 8 have mostly found some form, which should help to slow the catch-up footy Essendon and Collingwood now need.

Our percentage is streets ahead of Freo...who are still dodgy away (far more so than us) PLUS we play them in a few rounds. Add to that the fact we play Port and West Coast (h) over the next two rounds, and you'd have to say our fate is truly in our hands.

Clear the slate. If we can win 2 games out of the PORT, WEST COAST and FREO matches, we'll be looking good.

Could not agree more, Jon. Everything will fall into place if we keep winning, simple as that.
