If we win our next two games...

And it is a big IF, will we be premiership favourites?
I dont believe so based on our questionable finals experience, but definately we would be favourites in my opinion to take out the MINOR Premiership.

Quite possibly. If results go our way during round 13, that clash could actually be for top of the ladder surprisingly enough!

What a thought. Minor premiers........or even top of the ladder for a week or two.

I'm already a bit delirious at 8 and 4, but if the players can see it then we are a good chance. Confidence in being able to win these big games is an all important factor. If we have that we are on half way up the mountain.
      Go the BLOODS!

I think round 14 against west coast would be the real tester. If we win that one, that'll boost our confidence to 500%.

But if we lose it, it will seriously hurt us. Thats the scary part. I watched some of the west coast vs brisbane game and they were playing superb, like us. That game will be a real blockbuster. But im nervous about it already.

Sid, it's on our turf which is exactly why i'm NOT panicking - over the years, when we've played well and played them at home, even if they've been doing well, they haven't had a chance. That game is no different to any of the others they have played so far or will play over the rest of the season, and Roosey will make sure they remember this!

Before then we still have the Power to deal with first though! As long as Barry doesn't blow a fuse this year against them we will be in with a good chance!

It seems extraordinary to me that we are in the position we are in already but to be talking seriously of beating Port Adelaide in Adelaide seems, well, beyond belief.

Yet, Mark Williams was at the ground on Sat night buying chips and checking us out with his entourage. So he's taking us seriously, so I may as well.

I rate Port as the best unit around.

They have power forwards in Tredrae and Cornes, great crumbers in the Burgoyne bros., excellent midfielders in Stevens, James and Carr, an excellent rucking division in Primus(when fit), Brogan and Lade, a steady but tough, nasty and resolute defence supported by committed runners from the midfield and the best all round player in the comp organising them from the middle in Wanganeen.

As if this isn't bad enough they have a grudge against the world and a bad attitude, good coaching and a will to succeed.

Plus AAMI stadium is a bad place for us.

            How can we win?????

I don't know but we seem to be doing and just maybe this time too.
