If he gets reported for that I will barrack for Collingwood
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

Reggi I cant believe you said that - there is a very realistic chance he will at least get reported for that - I wonder if you will really hold your word

facing the tribunal is not a punishment, it is to be used to determine what punishment should be given.
Football is already to soft, and it dsiturbs me that so many of you are becoming supporters of the soft version of our game.

If Neitz doesn't get reported for what he did that is a joke.

Was'nt much in it, maybe a bit reckless, but if the bloke did'nt get injured and played on we would'nt even be talking about it. As Floppinab mentioned the ump was there and thought nothing of it.

              No 50, no suspension.

Reggi - it's been nice "knowing you". Will miss your comments here, but maybe you can return as a guest poster when you need relief from Extreme Black & White!

Yup - afraid LRT has been cited on video evidence.

well he has been cited to appear next week

an absolute joke, would not have happened but for the injury to skipper

should be reported for bad hair not rough play
Coach: "Joe,go out and get ferocious"

                    Joe:"Sure coach,what number is he?"

it was a poor and reckless attempt to spoil and has caused a serious injury

                      that's the bottom line

no it probably wouldn't have come up except for the level of injury but it was still a reckless attempt to spoil. that is the way it works and all clubs/players are in the same boat

if (say) LRT had his jaw broken in an incident that the umpire misread or missed would you want the opposition player cited??
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.

WE would bay for his blood but in all seriousness, if it was a result of a bit of a biff that was just part of play, we'd be doing it more out of team loyalty than an actual belief the offender was guilty. It's a contact sport and accidents will happen. The "unduly rough play" charge has so far come across as something the Tribunal isn't even sure what it is, so if that's the case, how can they differentiate this from the knock that caused Maxie's head wound, or any of the injuries that arise as a result of body to body contact? It's bizarre and I wouldn't even place a wager on whether he'll get off or not because I don't think even the tribunal have an idea.

                              This is insane

Eyes on the ball the whole time, clearly no picture of where the opposition player was. I'm ......... speechless.

Secondly why the friggen heck does he have to wait till next friggen Tuesday to have the case heard. Great thing for a first year player to have to stew over a report for a whole ****en week. ****EN AFL grrrrrrrrr.

i disagree, he had his back to where the ball came from and then hit skipper late, had no eyes for the ball at all...

as i said before, 2 weeks...
