facing the tribunal is not a punishment, it is to be used to determine what punishment should be given.
Football is already to soft, and it dsiturbs me that so many of you are becoming supporters of the soft version of our game.Only 9 notes? How easy can it be!Comment

Yup - afraid LRT has been cited on video evidence.Comment

well he has been cited to appear next week
an absolute joke, would not have happened but for the injury to skipper
should be reported for bad hair not rough playCoach: "Joe,go out and get ferocious"
Joe:"Sure coach,what number is he?"Comment

it was a poor and reckless attempt to spoil and has caused a serious injury
that's the bottom line
no it probably wouldn't have come up except for the level of injury but it was still a reckless attempt to spoil. that is the way it works and all clubs/players are in the same boat
if (say) LRT had his jaw broken in an incident that the umpire misread or missed would you want the opposition player cited??"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.Comment

WE would bay for his blood but in all seriousness, if it was a result of a bit of a biff that was just part of play, we'd be doing it more out of team loyalty than an actual belief the offender was guilty. It's a contact sport and accidents will happen. The "unduly rough play" charge has so far come across as something the Tribunal isn't even sure what it is, so if that's the case, how can they differentiate this from the knock that caused Maxie's head wound, or any of the injuries that arise as a result of body to body contact? It's bizarre and I wouldn't even place a wager on whether he'll get off or not because I don't think even the tribunal have an idea.Comment

Well, he's been cited on video evidence. Will get at least 1, maybe 2 weeks IMO.
