On the Carlton match besides JF, who is coming down or thinking of it???? I would like to know as I'm thinking of having instead of a meet up at a pub over a few drinks that maybe because of the 2pm start and the need to get to the ground early to get into the GA area that we have a meet up over b'fast in the city somewhere before all making the way in my tram in a huge group just to let the Carlton folk know we are coming.

    Any takers?????????????

Mate, having not missed a game there this year, I'm as much a Melbourne Swans supporter as a Sydney one.

I actually have a lot more fun at Melbourne games than games up here.
And how much do you notice the different atmosphere in Melbourne during footy season as against Sydney. It's a pity you didn't follow the footy when they used to have 6 games on Saturday in Melbourne - that was 'special'!!

Yep Rob, I'm coming down unless something drastic happens! Breakfast sounds great! I'll be bringing 2 people with me (at the very least 1) to the match, but they probably won't come for breakfast. I'm apparently staying at a guesthouse near the G and if the people i'm with can't give me a lift somewhere, everyone who goes to brekky will need mobiles handy when i get lost!

Well Gemma I'll try and get something set up, don't worry Melbourne isn't that hard to work out.

I can get anyone discounted accommodation at the Best Western Princes Park Motor Inn if they want.

            PVT me off-forum if interested.
