    site v site meet up

    Hi all you Swans fans
Hope to see a few of you come over to the lovely Football Park this Saturday.

I know a few of you coming already, JF, Lizz and Charlie.

How about a meet up before the game. Around 11.45am, when the car park gates open.
The people from Thepowerfromport.com v Redandwhiteonline.com . We will be having a BBQ and have eskies and a footy. We meet on the grass area in the car park. I will post more info here later. Hope to see you all there

      Sounds great Shane
Could become a yearly thing....meet up's each year, in Sydney and Adelaide, wherever we play each other.

The BBQ should be brilliant. Be happy to see as many ROW Swans fans there as possible..all welcome.

Don't expect too many of us. In Adelaide there generally are a few Swans fans scattered here and there, but it is pretty thin pickings. The Melbourne Cheer Squad aren't even coming over.

I was given the 5 star treatment by the Crows Supporters Group (?) in their aircraft hanger last season, so I look forward to a get-together with Port supporters as well.

I'm staying in Seaton, so won't be too far away.

If we are looking forward to a Sydney get-together, it would have to be at the 20 minute mark of the 1st quarter, when the majority of our members have actually arrived at our games.

Probably the Fox & Lion at $uper League "I have a vision" Studios would be the best bet for an SCG meet-up. Maybe for breaky?

What about after the match. It has become tradition for the Sydney away game crew to go out for dinner after the match. (It would be nice to have an after-match for SA-based Swans supporters, but I won't turn this posting into a whinge about the way our club is run).

I wouldn't be game to venture anywhere near Alberton after the match, especially if we beat you!

Are there any SANFL matches on the Sunday? Charlie, when you heading home that day?

Sunday night. Not sure what we're doing on the Sunday yet... probably sight-seeing somewhere or other... we've never been to Adelaide.

Just a tip, plan on having a plan of things to do. If you wake up on Sunday morning and just think you'll while away the day, you go nuts in Adelaide. It took me until my 4th trip there to actually start liking the place. Especially on a Sunday it makes even Canberra look busy!

Still there is always the Adelaide Hills, Mt Lofty, Glenelg, and the Barossa Valley if you run out of things to do.

How about a Sunday morning breakie meeting in North Adelaide? Some of the cafes there are highly recommended.

Not sure if i was imagining things again, but was there mention of port playing in melbourne the same weekend we're down there against carlton? If so, can we try to organise a gathering then cos I'd love to meet some of our crazy port counter-parts!

No, they are at home against Wet Toast.

Only a short 8 hour drive from Optus Oval Gem.

What time are we planning on meeting up? I have to ensure I don't have too much for breaky if I'mn going to be fed heaps of snags and chops at Footy Park.

Anyone bringing a slab? Should I bring some Strongbows?

Guys, see if you can make it to the BBQ. I will be a bit embarrassed if the Port supporters make all the effort to cook up snags etc and there are only 2-3 of us there.
