There is alot more to stopping port than stopping wanganeen. This is the best team in the competition, and Tredrea and Stevens to name just a couple are more important or as important as wanganeen.
We will have to be at our 100% best to beat them, and we cant really worry about them too much, because like roos said against brisbane, we cant really worry about them too much because if the play at their best they will beat us, we have to worry about ourselves.

O'Keefe on Wanganeen would be good for us in that he would be a real threat on the scoreboard if Wanganeen didn't show him enough respect. Does O'Keefe have the pace to go with Wanganeen though?

I agree with comments that Kirk should play on Wanganeen, he is definately the best choice. O'Keefe needs more time to find his feet in the side and doesn't need the added responsibility of playing on Wanganeen. Please don't compare playing on Wanganeen with playing on Smith the week before. Wanganeen is a much better player and in a hell of a lot better form.

Crouch should play on Stevens. Stevens gets a lot of tocuhes but he is not the game breaker that some of their other players are.

I agree with Lizz, I'd love to see Ryan play on Wanganeen, but I too wondered if he has enough pace. The Physical side wouldn't be a problem, but Wanganeen is very explosive out of the blocks.
Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release

Roos tends to play Kirk on the oppositions No1 ballgetter

            e.g. Buckley, West, Lappin etc

He plays Crouch on the faster players

            Harvey, Akermanis, Moorecroft

Our problem is that we don't have anymore specialist taggers after these 2. Matthews did a great job on Mecuri.

Warfe is far too loose and doesn't have the fitness.

If we tag all of the oppositions danger players maybe we will be too negative any way and go against our free running style.

For my money Kirk will get Stevens and Crouch one of the Burgoyne's

i think that Wanganeen will sweep across half back, maybe ROK is a good option

dont know about hell of a lot, granted that he is better but smith has done heaps for the doggies this year... he is the next best HBF in the league ATM to wanganeen... o'keefe in my mind will get the job... kirk is a perfect matchup to stevens... if i had the choice out of anyone to put on wanganeen itd be fixter as he could hurt on the board as well... crouch would do a good job on him up the ground but not in the forward line... we'll see...

Crouch is probably needed to play on Burgoyne Sr

                  O'Keefe on Hardwick
                  and
                  Davis on Wanganeen.
                  for a change.

                  Might work for them

There will be more changes to the match ups in this game than I could effectivley predict. There are more options than I wish to consider.....

Goodes on Tredrea as a last resort.. But if treders gets going like the last few games we need other options....

Like the Okeefee on Wangerneen option

Can they stop BBBH, Davis, Micky o and co?

Lead do not follow, Run rabbit run.......... run their little legs off them
