My thoughts exactly. I'm happy to print it and send it in (I think snail mail works best with the Club).

There wouldnt be a swan supporter alive who wouldnt wish him the best of luck.

Would love to see him slot into our 2004 premiership side... even if off the bench.

Ok, I don't want to enrage anyone, but given that its round 13 and Heath hasn't played a match for (?) years... it isn't really likely that he will play a game in the seniors this year. Is it? And given that he only managed to hold his place on the list last year by the skin of his teeth, is it really possible that he could still be on the list next year, after missing another whole year of football?

It wasn't really a "skin of his teeth" sort of thing - the club had said that if he was recovering as expected he'd be put on the rookie list so they could put some1 else on the senior list for 2003 (seeing as he wasn't a chance to play) and the only way he could have gone backwards to rookie status was to be delisted and then picked up as a rookie iirc.

Even if he doens't play seniors, if he starts getting through some matches in ressies and manages to put in a hard preseason, there's no reason why, disaters excepted, he can't become a fixture of the 2004 backline.

Best of luck heathy! Go get 'em!

We wont see him this year in the seniors. I understood that if James could convince the club that he has overcome the injuries then he willl be promoted to the senior list come 2004. All we ask of him at the moment is to string few solid games together in the reserve by the season end. If he could do that, his chance will come in 2004.

For the next 10 weeks, we should nurse him though, especially the next couple.

Best of luck to Heath - really hope he stays injury free and has the best chance possible chance to show his ability

It is great news, good to see him back, really good.
Lets just be mindful that he hasnt played footy for gods know how long, so if heath doesnt perform well in the next month or so go easy on him, because I know alot of people here are saying cmon heath show us what you got etc, but the truth is we wont see him play good footy for at least a month, so dont panic if he doesnt set the world on fire.

Awesome news, great to see him back on the park. Would be an absolute inspiration to every single person at that club. Come back from he time he has had to at least play ressies again is a fairly remarkable achievement, hopefully he can find a way into the team next year. Good luck

It is fantastic news, basically from what I understand the club do not expect seniors football from him only reserves. If he makes it thru that seniors next year. Remember the 100 x 100 sprints that Roos had the guys doing before Xmas well as Heath could not run he had to do 1000 push ups.
