Cheer Cheer the Black and the White crush all the Swannies day and by night!

The only sad part about this week is that we at Port don't get to give the Victorians a lesson in footy.....hold on your Victorians...South Melbourne....looks like it time for us to Kick a Vic again!

I found it bloody hard getting used to the song after hearing it so bloody much in Adelaide (it is Port's traditional club song in the SANFL). After twelve years in Sydney I'm used to it know

At least the Power fans will know the tune and be able to sing along when they play the song at the end of the game on Saturday

"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Well done Black power - pity you weren't at the game - the stadium might have been half full then.

You won't get those frees at the "G".

Didn't you watch the scoreboard? It's "The Power From Port"... they had the words going on the scoreboard, so you could all sing along to the song you should already know.

The result was not unexpected although a touch disappointing in the end. They are a very good side but won't win the flag. Too many of their goals come from pure arse. They have a truckload of highly skilled receivers who will be found out again in September. Terry Wallace called them the perfect football team last year in that on a hard fast track their skills will beat most sides but when the heat is really applied they will falter.
My only gripe is Wanganeen. He does not play within the spirit of the game.
His continual diving and staging for free kicks borders on cheating. Its a pity there is no send off rule because he is a disgrace to the club, game and the Brownlow medal.

Cheating is a fair call. Wanganeen is constantly milking frees, yet the umpires never wake up to it. Brendon Lade is definitely a cheat. He knew that the mark that he claimed (that resulted in a goal) was touched by Warfe. The umpiring was atrocious, and that has not been uncommon this season.

Congratulations Brendon Lade, you have now earned the same accolades afforded Fine Cotton, Greg Dyer, Canterbury- Bankstown Bulldogs, and Carlton. No Adam Gilchrists here.
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

Actually they played "Up there for Sydney" before the match. And "Power to win" at the end.

I sense a Cheer Cheer conspiracy here. P

By the way BlackPower, would you not happen to be a friend of Beaussie, by any chance? Do you need the AAMI Stadium scoreboard to sing the words to Power to Win too?

PS:- At THAT match last year (, there was a Port supporter in his "History in the making" cap singing along with Cheer Cheer. His young son was most perplexed that Daddy was singing along to the cub song of the opposition!
