I would say the only change will be IN Powell or Sunny .. OUT Matthews..

Ideally I would love to see ...
      IN: Sunny, Powell, Meiklejohn

      OUT: Matthews, Warfe, Nicks

I think Frosty definately deserves another crack. For mine, he is better than Nicks, Mathews and Warfe. To say he lacks skills is ignorant. He is a good accurate kick and has fairly clean hands.

I hope Sunny gets a go this week for Mathews as he showed a lot against Richmond and with a few games he will really start to develop.

Meiklejohn is no CHB, he is a ruckman. Yes he does have the same hight/weight as Fletcher but that means nothing. He doesn't have the speed or the skil lto play CHB. LRT does and he should seriously be considered there.

how do we know this though? JM has received less than minimal game time... he could be developed into a KPP, as with LRT... potentially, either could be a CHB... development is the key, and all the right ingredients are there to start with... for mine he seemed to have a good touch of pace and agility, time will tell, meanwhile its my dream

as far as pace goes, how slow is schauble! he is still a serviceable backman, its just that the combo of lack of pace and lack of strength means he is serviceable and not excellent... IMO, u need at least one of these traits to be a good defensive KPP... and how quickly do we forget how little skill dunks had with his kicking his sure hands wouldnt have come over night

Look Frosty has had his chance so has Rowan and it will soon be time that both of them be delisted or traded. So lets just except it.

Apart from marks where he has played on, I struggle to remember Magic taking a mark in the 50 in the last three years without looking a bit ginger afterwards. I guess he regularly plays in a bit of pain.

During the PA match Mickey appeared to re-hurt is knee in the 4th qauter and come straight from the ground he did not return and the BR stated at the time the swans medical staff thought he had re-hurt his knee so I would not be surprised if did not play.

Yeah, I remember ABC news last Saturday night stating that, "..to make matters worse for the Swans, Michael O'Loughlin was injured in the last quarter..."

Micky comes across as a bit of a hypochondriac. Forever gripping some part of his body in pain - I wish he would just concentrate on his footy and playing up to his ability.

Ch 10 story tonight. Matthews replaced in side by Powell. There was no mention of the make up of the interchange bench.

Although we hear plenty of stories about guys playing through injuries, as a person with chronic knees myself I think this is a little harsh. There is no doubt in my mind Micky is a victim of this and like other players with similar afflictions (McLeod comes to mind), will get a lable of being explosive but inconsistent (read, looks fantastic when the knee is great but finds it hard when it feels like ****).
The Swans history of injury management isn't great, let's hope Micky benefits from some improvement in that area.
