    I agree Bam_Bam

    Saddo was solid and ensured that he wasn't hurt to return to senior selection this week

    NOG (Ablett) tried hard and looked good - will probally need an injury to force his way in..... just not quite there...... He has improved and looks as if he will continue to do so......

    Josh was my pick of the bunch - Probally needs a full year to go to next level... Solid game

    Heath was ok - but needs to get a few games behind him _gain some confidence - to a screamer late in the game, landed hard and bounced up ok. the only moment that sceared me was his interchange in 2/4 blood rule or something heath went on and didn't warm up - did some stretches on the ground - tentitive rub of the hammy - I was concerned however seemed to get through the game OK.

    Sunny was everywhere and look very good - an option for selection (replacement for ?? but close)

    McVeigh was tagged most of the game - got some hard balls but needs to gets used to this type of close checking - It is going to happen - needs to finish the apprenticeship may be ok if our small players start to fail. (Look out Fossie) - needs another year...

    Sam hunt was ok but not as big as I thought.... KPP ????

    Meiklejohn - it is going to be hard to get a run - keep on going you never know..... good game - to good for the ACT league..

    I did like what I saw in this game from our nearly there players - we have better depth this year that the past 5 years

    I would seem that winning gives the players confidence to do better........

            no problem.

            I also agree that Ablett would need an injury or 3 to happen to force his way in at this stage, but it's good to know the form is there and he's playing well. We do have a lot of young guys getting ready for the next step. It's encouraging to know Senior selection may not be automatic in future, if they all develop well and quickly.

              NOG would be my choice as Cressa's replacement for next year.

              He should be trying to emulate his game plan........ so do the hard yards and be ready to replace Cressa next year!

                  Good choice penga. I'm a big fan. He has a very high work rate on and around the ball and runs all day.

                      Cresswell = O'Keefe
                      Williams = Schneider (similar attributes as players IMO, similar height too!)
                      Maxfield = Sundqvist

                      Something along those lines!
                      Dont forget Fixter, McVeigh, Malceski, Thewlis etc .. it looks good

                          fozzie and sunny are both wingers, cressa isnt, so they wouldnt be in a sense be replacing him...

                            O'Keefe is a developing player who yet has to prove he can cut it at senior level let alone even being compared to Creswell. I'd be happy if he could string a few good games together.

                            Fair to say most kids on our list now won't be here in five years its just the way it is most players drafted won't make it our kids are no different.

                              O'keefe is too clumsy to fill Cressa's shoes. Doubt he would be at the club for much longer. Would prefer to see him traded this year when he still has some value.

                                I think there are others we'd like to trade before we get to O'Keefe.

                                IMO given game time he will develop his skill levels. I am not putting him in the same class, but I remember Kell, needing to work on his skill level when he started playing. He even admits it himself.
