    Craig Bolton

Showed today that, when we get our defence ticking over, could become a very useful option through the midfield. Finished with 19 touches... I felt he showed that he's more than a mid-sized defender.

Totally agree there Charlie. He was fantastic early on as a creative option somewhere between half-back and wing. IMHO, once we get guys like Saddo, Mathews and Fixter back, he could be very useful playing a little further up the ground. In general, his disposal is very tidy so couple this with his defensive skills, and he could be used to apply pressure on the ball rebounding out of our attcking 50, much the same way as ROK (albeit not as far forward as ROK), while also getting a bit of a chance to show off his attacking skills.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

I like his coolness and the way how he kicks to a free player or to the best marking option.

He obviously enjoyed his time in the mid - field

      a good all round performance

I'm his biggest critic, and even I have to admit he played alright today.

I think he played really well today, although he will need to stop his fumbling and poor handpasses under pressure if he is to be a serious midfield option.

CB had a fine game , including his second efforts/1 percenters.
His skill was never in question , but he was simply never a KP defender.
Clearly he must continue in the type of role he had today.

Yeah he's got the footy smarts, I like him.

I also thought Powelly was good today. I reckon he has what it takes to be a cult player eventually! hehe Actually, next season, he will be bulked up, hair cut and will cut a similar figure to Nathan Thomson.

I cringed everytime Warfe was given a run. I just wish Roosy would eat the pain and drop him for good!

Craig Bolton played very well. He was very diligent and focused. He seemed all over the field. Really going for it.

Mark Powell had a fantastic first quarter. When he was hurt early in the second, two trainers came on and he seemed to say he was OK, as he was going back to the play (which by this time was up the other end of the field), he had a bit of a wobble and Kel got a call on the batphone and came on to take him off. I was quite worried, but pleased to see that later in the game he was back into it. He was really going for it. Lots of guts.

same, i dropped my head hoping he wouldnt stuff up...

i thought the only downside to bolton's game yesterday was his inability to keep his feet when in the midfield, i think this had more to do with his boots though... i like him

powelly gives it a good hard crack, i like him too

The Bolts (both Jnr and Snr) had great games, and with Seymour, Fixter and maybe even Heath available soon, it gives the backs plenty of options...oh yes and then there's Saddington and Matthews too...Gee its gonna keep a lot of players on their toes with possies up for grabs...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

What about his delivery ibti the fifty? Calm and superb. I thought Williams and Cresswell were well beaten...both looked very old and slow. Williams continues his clanger count (OOBOTF anyone?).

The two of them were towelled up at the clearances...3 between them for the whole game. Simply not good enough IMO. Can't wait for the youngsters to take their roles permanently.

Fixter, Sunsqvist, Davis, Schneider, McVeigh etc will hopefilly be a lot quicker to react and a lot more committed to the loose ball.

Williams and Cresswell did a lot of watching at the scrimmages. Made me feel ill.

You're a harsh man Sharp9! I do take your point about Willo. His form seems a bit over-rated at the moment. Cressa is slotting the one or two a game on the run which is what Willo used to do and now doesn't. He missed a sitter yesterday.

I thought he got enough of it yesterday and played pretty good without being spectacular.

I hope this slump is temporary because we need his run and we need his 1.2 goals a game too.
