I quite like Bolton C. Lots of potential, although he runs the risk of being another Warfe in a couple of seasons time. Must be some reason why the Lions didn't want him, especially with their salary issues.

A few things I took out of the game
Powell if they can bulk him up could be a gun great commitment and not afraid to get in and do the tuff stuff.
Warfe is simply way past his best and when Saddo is back I think it's goodbye.
We got killed at stoppages alot of players seemed flat footed.
For all of his detractors we really missed Matthes today and he is very important to our team balance.
C.Bolton's greatest asset to us is going to be his flexibility he seems able to fill a number of different rolls for us.
N.Davis can't wait to see this guy do a full presseason next year and push for a permanent spot in the midfield even laid a copile of good tackles.
O'Keefe showed a bit in the second half I think this gu could be anything.
LRT needs a run back in the Two's for a couple of weeks.
And last but not least Chris Judd has to be the best young player to come along for years this guy is a superstar already and is only in his second year.Victoria teams will offer the world to get him back to vic.......I think to get him they will have to offer a high top ten pick + a quality player.Mum wan't him home so it could be very interesting at the end of the year.Comment

The two of them were towelled up at the clearances...3 between them for the whole game. Simply not good enough IMO. Can't wait for the youngsters to take their roles permanently.
Sure they had few clearances in this game, but that happens from game to game. If you were a WC supporter would you also say Cousins was gone as he had only one clearance?!?Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

True, but then why ditch one player with loads of potential who can't find a spot in the regulars, only to pick up Caracella? It doesn't seem to fit.C'mon Chels!Comment

The bio said he was an emergency for the Prelim and GF last year, so somebody rated him highly up there in Brisbane.
I think Brisbane would've enjoyed the luxury of keeping him...I heard Mathews mention his name when discussing player trades he'd rather not have had to make. But with no real room in the firsts, CB must have been dying to make a move. He only played 29 games in 3 years, and only SIX games last year.
Great he had 19 possessions. He's shown that he has the poise to be that critical link man in a switch of play, the strength to stand in a tackle and keep his hands free to keep us moving, and the grunt to punch above his weight in a purely negative defending role. Takes a pretty mean mark when he has to as well.
And all this from a player with only 43 games under his belt.Time to march for the Red and WhiteComment
