    Scott Stevens

My thoughts are that he will be offered for trade come season's end. It just seems that although he can play as a marking option at both ends of the field, with our backline from today to add Saddo, Mathews, Fixter, Seymour, plus the hopes for Heath James to develop as a fullback if he can remain injury free, that he isn't going to get a run down back. Up forward, I just can't see him getting the game time to prove his worth.

While he is still young, and we can get something for him, IMHO he would be a useful player for a team like the Dogs, becuse he can play as a marking option at both ends, and they have a dearth of players like that. They have no players that we could reasonably expect to trade for, but a 2nd round draft pick might not be out of the equation.

    Your thoughts?

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I'd love to get a second round draft pick... but Nick Davis was worth pick 23 and the Bulldogs are going to have pick 18.

Stevens isn't going to be able to demand that sort of price unless he is played and he shows something. That looks unlikely, as he has seemingly fallen behind LRT, Powell, Schneider and Sundqvist in the pecking order this year, with Saddo, Fixter, Doyle, Seymour and Mathews out of the side. I'd be surprised to see him again.

If it's a second rounder we get... it isn't going to be with the Bulldogs.
    We hate Anthony Rocca
    We hate Shannon Grant too
    We hate scumbag Gaspar
    But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

Stevens only hope for a future with the Swans is a spot in the backline.

He did well there in the Wizard cup against Brisbane.

He should be there in front of Warfe

If not then definite trade bait to either the Dockers or Wet Toast

Iam praying for a trade for Staker but that now looks unlikely as he has been killing them for East Freo in the WAFL but unfortunately played for the Eagles last week and looked good - pulled up sore and did'nt play this week. (and made the trip home this week to see family)

I have seen him 4 times this year and looks like a Polak in the making.

Here we go Penga, Started slowly due to injury. Now unfortunatley East Freo have only won two games this year so Staker has been restricted to very poor supply up foward. Position played CHB,CHF and FF and has showen a bit in all. Has become a bit of a fav of mine but needs some beef and lot more work on second efforts and his skills seem sound watch the Eagles over next few weeks as Iam confident he will be given a gig.
