Not putting teams away

Interesting that our wins against genuine finals contenders, Brisbane, West Coast and Collingwood have all seen the Swans blow big leads and let the opposition gain huge momentum towards the end of the game. This habit would eant to change come September.

Also interesting to note that our closest game prior to yesterday win or lose was against the Lions where we won by 19 points. So many games over the past number of seasons where we have won or lost by a kick or two.

I know that it is there on the scoreboard for all to see, however my take on teams coming back is more to do with Roosy's rotations than anything else. We are still winning these games!

Roosy keeps our better players off at strategic times, gives them enough rest to run out the last quarter. Yesterday at the end of the 3rd, he had Ball, Williams and Maxfield off the ground. He plays with fate a bit, I reckon he counts the goals he concedes and then, gets them back on to stem the flow.

He did it just in time yesterday.

I thought the Eagles were fantastic in the second half.
