We have definitely done well with our rookie list this season.
Obviously MJ has been promoted, but these guys are nearly always amongst our best!!

I have such a good feeling about Thewlis and Malceski. Both were injured last year, and slipped through the net 'til we picked them in the 4th and 5th rounds. If they come on like Schneider, we will have THREE great pickups from below 50 in the draft! Plus there's Hunt and Buchanan, both of whom are chances to also make it.

Our drafting really is turning the corner I think.

Good to see Paul Bevan doing well, Paul comes from and played his junior footy in the inner Sydney leagues.

Still early to tell how good they could be, but remember Sunny was also a late (post 50) choice. And maybe O'Keefe will never be "great" but he does look able to be a handy, consistent player and he was picked in the 50s as well.

Lizz - I didn't even realise they were 50+ picks!

That's very impressive... if these guys all go on and become good players... that's fantastic recruiting.

Jury is way out on Thewlis and Malceski - another pre-season until they are contenders.

I have high hopes for NOG - hope he breaks back into the side and does a big pre-season.

Would pick Sundqvist to be a senior player next year.

                    Obviously Crawford is injured

Is he? There was certainly a player running around for the ressies on Sunday wearing the no 41 who looked like the description I've read of Crawford - right size, dark shaggy hair. Had assumed it to be him. But then I had thought this player kicked a great goal which was credited to Thewlis, and I didn't catch site of anyone wearing 38 so maybe it was Josh in the wrong guernsey. Can anyone enlighten me?

Good reserves results and team = good future...hopefully...
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal
