Interesting to see if last night's inaccuracies will come back to bite us after Round 22.

In terms of teams in the top 8 which have not drawn, this is the current rankings of %.

Adelaide - 129.71
Port Adelaide - 128.08
SYDNEY - 118.24
Collingwood - 115.14
Fremantle - 103.13

We'd want to give ours a real boost because it would suck if our position was dictated to by a poor %.

Yep, it COULD prove costly, but if we keep winning, it won't come into it

The only team against whom our percentage is likely to be important is the Pies. We're already too far behind the Adelaide clubs and WC, and probably Brisbane already, though their draw makes it kind of irrelevant anyway. Similarly our break on Freo is probably already sufficient, and they have a slightly tougher run-home than we do anyway.

That game against the Pies is going to be critical.

Unless we beat Adel and Bris away, percentage won't come into it. Looking at the draw, if we win every game but those two, we're still only looking at 4th (assuming no massive form reversals from the competition leaders).

I reckon percentages play an important part in deciding the final 8 and top 4 and that it cant be forgotten. We definitely have to take it into consideration.
