    Sydney City Fortress?

    Is it just me, or is Sydney (both the SCG and Stade Oz) inching towards becoming a fortress for the Swans again? Since Paul Roos took over, we have won something like 12 of the 15 games we've played there. Not prefect, but coupled with the fact that it includes the last 7, and 10 of the last 11... we seem to be getting stronger and stronger there. If games continue to form, I'd expect us to win the last 3 games in Sydney this year... the record would then look very, very imposing!

          no, you're not the only one - I've noticed it too. It's about bloody time too, IMO all of those narrow losses we had in the last couple of years (surprisingly, most of them were in Sydney), took away the 'fortress' atmosphere. But 7 in a row (the current streak) is looking impressive, if they win the last three it will be getting back to Subiaco proportions

          in fact, I read a post on Bigfooty just after the WC game where an Eagles fan was complaining about the size of the SCG - a sure sign that it's becoming more difficult for visiting teams to win there. Don't often remember things I read on messageboards, but that one stuck in my mind as an encouraging sign.

                  I hope we avoid Adeliade in the finals. We cant beat them anywhere!

                  I think they are the side we match up on worst of all.
