    Carlton intra-club match

Whitnall went straight into the rooms with an ankle injury at today's intra-club at Optus. Justin Davies also went off hurt.

Seems Carlton are doing their best to make sure we thrash them.

having an intra-club match after the subi hangover seemed like a bad idea to me - less recovery time.

It's still a danger game though - but my feeling is that it may pan out a bit like the St Kilda game, may not be pretty.

I wonder if Pagan will give any thought to trying the 'ultra-flood'?

Well Pagan told his troops to bring their mouthguards and it looks like it was a pretty tough session.

Even though their brusied, it well might benefit them come this saturday.

And the retirement of their club champion Brett Ratten, will only spur them on as well.

Im having sick flashbacks to last year at colonial stadium V the saints.

Latest rumour down here is that Whitnall might have strained a medial ligament and will miss a number of weeks. Martyn was with the injured group too, but that is probably a downer for us.

They probably did it coz the only way they can WIN a game is to play with themselves!!
