Will do, at the Melbourne game. Maybe we can give Daryn Cresswell a "One Daryn Cresswell, there's only one Daryn Cresswell" send off!

good god! that's 2 compliments in 3 days! This is amazing! now i know why I missed melbourne when i didn't go last year! Compliments, fun cheering, only one tantrum all day (and that means you mr goodman!), a way cool aftermatch with ALL the players (and you actually felt like they wanted to be there because you were all part of something really good!), fun times with the ppl afterwards...

      DAMN I NEED MORE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I did was get the chant going and add the 2nd round draft picks. Thanks for the idea Robbie.

Well Mr Hatley will be doing more of his 24 hour sojourns down to Melbourne in his car. Maybe if you ask nicely you can hitch a ride and just pay a bit for petrol. With 4 in a car you can do Melbourne pretty cheaply.

Now you know why I don't miss matches down there Gem!

but see my problem is that i just got my new uni timetable and if i want the money to afford the sojourns, i need to work, and the only times i can work are weekends *sob* but never fear, i'm already down as unavailable for every game up here, and i have fallback plans for when we get to the finals with our home finals up here

I'd love it if we knew we had the game in the bag and we started singing Cheer Cheer before the siren, without the aid of the music.

In the finals in 2001 the Hawthorn supporters did this to us at Colonial and you have no idea how much it P'd us off.

It wasn't enough that we were kicked out of the finals in a disappointing game. Kell, Willo and Pebbles all injured, with Dale Lewis playing his last game. After being well in controll going into half time.

We then had to listen to them breaking out into song for the final 5 minutes of the game.

I have never forgotten that. And always thought it'd be great to be able to respond in same one day.
Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release

In all seriousness, whatever happens in the finals, the Swans cheersquad will put all others to shame if the chants in this thread are anything to go by Great work by JF_Bay22 especially!

Problem is hardly anyone knows the words to the chants except for the group of about 10 of us. The normal ones will do well.
                  Once was, now elsewhere

In Melbourne we are right as rain. Sydney is where we need a bit of extra help. If you are bored sitting in your set seat, why not come around on Sunday against the Quokkas, grab a flag and help out. In Sydney we get constantly hammered when we are quiet. Apart from one woman who DID put her money where her mouth was a few weeks ago again the Doggies, nobody offers to help us.

Those in the know know what has been happening within the Sydney Cheer Squad of that. But we are all ready for a fresh new beginning, hoping to attract committed new people willing to have a bit of fun and help out.

As Uncle Sam says, we need you, especially if you drag a family along with several prospective flag/pattie whielding sprogs in tow.

Banner making will be held in conjunction with the Quokkas Cheer squad on Saturday morning. Dean can you give the troops the goss about what people need to do to come along. Hopefully there'll be a BBQ afterwards.

cheers, and thanks for the wrap again fellas. I hope the office is reading this.
