i would love to see cressa hang around for 2004. he is playing good football, is consistently in our best and offers experience to a young team. if he stays injury free and plays on next year , he will be a chance to break john rantall's record of 260 games for the swans.

I dont know about you, but from reading the book and observing the swans over the last few years, I got the feeling there were two groups of players: The old "legend" guard of Kelly, Lockett, Schwass etc, and the young ones.

The club really needed a clean out of that oldguard before it could rebuild, and the younger group step up.

I get the impression now, that the team is one solid group.

Hopefully cressa has made that transistion. It looks like he has.

You'd play Cressa in the middle but off the bench as an impact player. Even if he only plays half a game it would be worth it.

Cressa has been good this year - a ball magnet.

I feel he could be far more damaging though.

IMO his disposal has dropped off when on the run, both to the leading forwards and around the ground (not when kicking for goal though

Watch closely for a few weeks and judge for yourself.
