I think the reason why everyone was so pessimistic about the issue was due to the acting by that carlton defender (forgot his name).

It certainly got me that he felt a bit of pain. But full credit to his honesty in admitting that he was faking and wanted a free kick. Its great sportsmanship.

Sorry, Sid, but that wasn't a sprtsmanship at all . Once Beaumont was faced with the evidence that there was no contact with his mouth, he had to admit he was just milking it for a free kick. This is an old player's trick. The only problem with this is the umps are falling for it over and over again.

YAY!!!! I found out on the C10 news last night and when they said that Barry Hall was found not guilty, I started screaming and jumping up and down. It has just been a good week for Sydney, with all the good news around. Of course, BBBH should have never been reported because it was very weak, but at least justice prevailled in the end. YAY!!!!

Late breaking news on ABC last night. Tops! BS Charge - Beaumont was the one getting in his face. Barry was just trying to get ready for the throw in.

me too Jixygirl. My Hubby's sick and wasn't impressed with the amount of noise I made ..... Oh well ....... news like that was worth it.
