    Fremantle

Against our hoodoo side, this game is a danger game.

Hopefully the tough game against the Crows and the travel will conspire to render the Dockers mute against us.

They are a side laden with some pretty good players - Bell, Hasleby, Pavlich, Longmuir, Cook, Farmer, Headland and Medhurst.

Hopefully, the guys will come out and play some great footy and blow Freo away in the first quarter.

Freo have only played 5 times in Sydney - they won the first two and we have won the last three.

We haven't lost a game this year when leading at half time. If we can continue that trend

This is a critical game. If we win well (30+ points) we can have a nice little buffer in the top 4.

Then we can probably handle a loss in Adelaide, and stay top 4.

I am actually hating these "should win" games. I cant wait to play Adeliade where the pressure will be off.

A much more difficult game than the last few. I think this game will be a good test of our real current ability.

I was quite disappointed by our last 2 wins and it will be interesting to play against another in form team.

I went and saw Freo play Collingwood at the MCG a couple of weeks ago - and they were hopeless. Their midfield was completely out-muscled and overrun by the Collingwood midfield, and Longmuir and Medhurst up forward barely touched the ball. Pavlich was their only dangerous player. If that's typical of how they play away from Subiaco then we should win.

I'm more worried about the home games against Hawthorn and Collingwood to be honest - Hawthorn because of their dangerous talls, and Collingwood because they look to be back to the form that took them to the Grand Final last year.

Don't you mean Hawthorn because John Barker seems to get some of the softest frees in the comp?

I've noticed that too, Dave. The nightmare scenario would be Goldspink and Schmitt umpiring us that day!

I reckon we can this one, but it'll be tough. Maybe a good litmus test for the finals?

As a dockers supporter this game looms as a big one for us aswell. Win it and we're pretty much given a spot in the finals, not to mention the experience of winning away so close to the finals.

Your team has a few players I think we're going to have a hard time matching up on.

If our 'away' side shows up, you should be looking to give us a fair belting, however if we show up to play it should be a cracker of a game.

Anyway, good luck and all the best for the finals.

Can I call it right three games in a row?
Doubt it , but here goes : a tough game , with a margin of less than two straight kicks, either way.

Welcome Dropkick - always good to have civil opposition supporters drop in.

Expectation on this side is for Hasleby to become the latest "victim" of Captain Kirk. He'll need to be from our perspective because Hasleby always seems to play well when I get to watch the Dockers (not very often, admittedly).

Also be interesting to see Goodes and Pavlich on the same ground - similar types of player and it will be interesting to see whether either coach tries to play his on the other. I suspect not, unless one is starting to dominate.

Also seem to remember that in round 2 your "no-name backline" completely carved up our forwards. Haddrill was particularly impressive - and I don't think I'd even heard of him before that game. Of course it might be a bit different on the SCG and Micky O'Loughlin didn't play in that game, so that could change the dynamics a bit.

Greetings swan fans. Good idea to put captain Kirk on Haze, He is one of the best tagggers (if not the best) in the AFL. I remember how he stiched DJ up in Round 2. So unless you have 2 of him who is going to keep DJ Quiet?

Looking forward to the Pav vs Goodes Rematch from round 2. IMO they broke even.

Should be an excellent game and may the best team on the day win.

DJ? Maybe being dense here but don't know other teams' players nicknames, as a rule. Only one I can think of is Headland? Don't get the impression he's been going that well this year - at least not on a consistent basis. I'm sure we'll find someone for him.

Crouch on Bell is another likely match-up, I guess, although Crouch may be required for Farmer, and I wouldn't be surprised to see each team's tough nut - ie Cook and Bolton - stay fairly close to each other for much of the game.

No way, Freo Fans are passionate and make twice the noise from half the crowd of the chardonay sippers up the road. But we are fairer and nowhere near as sooky as them. You wont hear us complaining that the SCG is "too small". lol

But I must thank the swans for keeping 2nd spot "warm" for us this year.
