    In the words of Gough...

    It's time.

Time, that is, for someone to make a statement. Preferably, in my mind, either Stuart Maxfield, Daryn Cresswell or Paul Williams, as they are the respected team leaders.

Time for a statement of our intents and purposes. Of where we are at, and what we can achieve. Of what the next 9 weeks is going to be all about.

Time for someone to come and say "we want to win the premiership, and we know we can."

We can do it. Forget the 'f' word. The 'f' word is old news. The 'p' word is what I'm thinking about. We may not win it. Hell, we probably won't. But it's time to put our pride on the line and go for broke.

I'm waiting on Ball's prognosis before I'm even comfortable that we've made the finals.
Yes, I know we now have 12 wins, but stranger things have happened... like the Swans being 2nd after round 17!

Strewth Charlie, don't you know as soon as they come out with bold premiership statements the mozz will go upon us, injuries will come aplenty and we will fall out of the 8.

Who cares about these comments. You only have to look at the 2 gooses in Melbourne, Schwab and Daniher who keep making BS's and getting egg on their cruets.

Why do we need any more optimism? We keep getting our top ups each week by winning.

Ball was quoted (I think in today's paper or somewhere I read here) talking about playing in another grand final and look what happened!

At the AM, Horse was very determined not to mention the F word. He said that they're still not talking about it.

Nick Davis was pretty happy saying how well Sydney were doing.

Horse also said wouldn't give a prognisis on Jason Ball. He said that it would be dependent on scans tomorrow. He did say that they were looking at a worst case scenario, but wouldn't say what that was. They think it popped partially out. I guess worst case means out for the season.

Cressa broke his nose. When he went down into the rooms right in front of us, he had a decidedly s shape to it. According to McVeigh at the AM, they stuck two sticks up to straighten it. He was back out in no time. Is that guy tough or what!
