I think Saddington has played great until that injury. I remember against collingwood this year how he beat chris tarrant by playing 10 metres in front of him. Perhaps that doesnt work on everyone. I wonder what Roosy things of this.

One thing for sure is that he definitely needs to find some form.
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal

He only beat Tarrant because the ball wasn't going into the Collingwood forward line. In the last quarter the Collingwood midfield got on top and the ball went into their forward line more often, if my memory serves me correctly, I think Tarrant kicked 3 or 4 goals in the last quarter.

Saddington is a liability right at the moment, maybe he'll come good though.

So is Saddington officially on the hate list now?

If he gets the thumbs down for another game, will he replace Warfe as public enemy no. 1?

Maybe we could trade Saddington, Mathews, Crouch, McPherson, Nicks, Warfe, Fosdike, Bolton and Barry (and any other liability I may have missed) for Playfair?

After having a few games out we have to be prepared to give him a bit of time I think. He's one of the few players in the team than can take a decent contested mark, once he gets his form and judgement back in this area I'll be happy.

One area he should focus on is his attack on the loose ball. On Sundy a high ball came in to their forward line, it would've been difficult to mark at full pace but instead of attacking the ball (like we know someone like Jude would have) he hung back and waiting for the bounce, which ultimately favoured the oppostion....... Freo goal.

For god's sake Saddo attack the ball.

You can tell we are getting down to the business end of the season can't you? I mean, the debate on here about the minutae of Saddo's game resulting in some friendly scragging among nervous supporters. It's great!

I will say however that it is up to the supporters to keep their heads as much as Roosy wants the players to keep their's.

It's hard to do, but I am keeping my composure and never forgetting that this season's success is a bonus during a rebuilding year. Don't let Roosy's word's go unheard. At the end of each game he says that he is happy with the win but he is analysing performance and players with a view to their long term future, not what it means for this year's flag.

The team has inspired this year, more than any since 1982 and yes I mean more than 87 or 96. Not just because of this year's success but because I know that it will be for SUSTAINED success.
