I think all this bickering is pointless. Let's wait until Sunday and see how it's going to unfold. If the Swans get trashed, we'll know what to expect later on. If not, then the boys have enough determination und hunger for success with or without Ball.

Someone - maybe you - brought that up a couple of months ago.

I do recall - once - asking what Cressa had done for "the rest" of one particular match when he had an uncharacteristically poor game. It could well have been the Saints game last year when he nearly saved it for us. Or it might have been the Roos game a few rounds earlier. In fact, I think it probably was that Roos game. And he, IIRC, he had played an ordinary game apart from finding that free from somewhere right on the siren.

I'm actually a huge Cressa fan. He has been nothing short of magnificent this year. Spots in the top 5 of the B&F are going to be hard to come by - with Bolton, Barry, Goodes, Williams, Magic, Kirk in particular staking a claim. But I wouldn't be surprised if Cressa sneaks in there again. I also expect him to find a spot in the Team of the Century. He bleeds R&W and has given his all for our club and will fully deserve it if he gets the nod.

Check out his profile for what I think about Cressa

I still don't have a problem calling someone having a poor game if that's the way I see it.

What I've never done (at least on this board ) is called for a top notch player to be cast off on the basis of a lean patch. Certain people who were wanting to offload Goodes and O'Loughlin a year ago must be feeling rather daft now!?

No! Both were playing crap a year or more ago. A number of people said they needed to improve and fortunately they did. Incidentally, I called O'Loughlin to be our most improved this year, and I reckon that's about right.

          I see it like this...

We can't lose this weekend either way. If we do lose to Adelaide I see it as a loss we had to have. It will just put more fire in the belly of the team to make amends. If we win this weekend, the team will grow in confidence and stature and we will gain respect from everyone. That's how I'm supporting the guys.
Only 9 notes? How easy can it be!

That's how I'm viewing it too. As long as any loss is competitive it will be fine.
