Why don't you line up to join the many others who think their knowledge of the game and this club is better than mine.

You and the others might want to follow the link below and then reconsider. I might be the best but I'm far from the worst and at least I know what I'm talking about.

BTW that is only part of what I wrote. That is the edited 6 page verson, the full copy is well over 20 pages

I'll happily give a player a spray, but it's always aimed at the ACTION, not the person. If someone does something stupid, I'll let them know about it, if they do something good, I'm big enough to praise them, cheer etc. No player is above the club, essentially.

I must admit I don't mind Frosty - maybe he's past it, but he's done some very good things for the club before.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I usually don't give any player a spray unless he did a very stupid, stupid mistake. However, my sprays always come in the heat of the moment when I can't control myself. Most of the time I cheer on the boys and be as positive as possible because the people around me that have been supporting South Melbourne/Sydney Swans for a long time are less positive. Frosty has definitely played some good games for the Swans but it is past his time and it will be interesting to see what happens to him at the end of the season.

If article about pro/cons of midyear retirements of players, I saw in the Inside Football magazine, is anything to go by then I would say Frosty will be delisted. According to that article a senior player that's been demoted to a reserves for a longer period is usually getting a hint that his time is up. Some players laki Schwata got it in retired before inevitable happend. I hope this doesn't sound to cruel to Frosty, but unfortunately team comes first and IMO EVERYBODY has to earn his position in it and with all these young players playing so well I really don't know what Frosty could do to earn his place in teh team again.
Either way we shouldn't bag Frosty now and let it go and remember good days when he was still in his prime.

Is there anywhere we can access which tells us in a list how long our players' contracts are for? I lose track. Whenever it comes to musing about future squads it is always a bit useless to imagine so and so being delisted if he has two years left.

I'm quite happy to bag our players if I feel they aren't giving 100% and I have done before and I will do so again. With McPherson its a little bit different, because there is no doubt he give us 100% every time he pulls on the Red and White jumper and goes into battle.

However my dislike about him, is that I don't think he is any longer up to AFL standard and that we have better, younger players. He has done well to stay in the squad for 10 years while never seeming to hold down a first 22 spot for long periods of time.

                  Right...

And even though I felt that Wayne Schwass was Absolutley CRAP in his last season and a half at the swans,
...And yet you bag him again.

I still did not go to a game to bag him. I do not bag my club when at a game...it achieves nothing but a negative impact on team and club morale.
Like you think the players care if we say something bad about them on this website or yell at them at the footy. You think they actually hear you at the footy.

On the other hand NMW, I can see you being one of those constant bag-aholics who actually believe that they are such experts on the great game of football that what they say, goes. I bow down to the master!
I say it like I see it. I don't believe in treating the players with kid gloves - if they played crap, say so. If they played well, say so.

Gee, you're getting a little bit too upset though aren't you? Have you not had your afternoon nap yet...

Look can we start a new post called wayne schwass or something ??
I really don't want paul Roos to be tempted to sneack frosty back in to the team for one last shot , and I feel that the more this thread exsists at the top of the site, then the more of a chance that Roosy will read it.
I also think that this is secretley Frosty13's desire to, so please can we start another thread, and in the future not answer any threads that have the words FROSTY, Daneil or Thirteen in them , Thank you.

You can give Frosty_13 stick if you want, but I love(d) seeing a long McPherson kick into the forward 50 almost as much as I used to enjoy a massive Bayes kick. I wouldn't mind seeing him get another shot at the expense of say, maybe, Warfe. I would say Nicks, but I'm clinging to the bandwagon even though the wheels are getting wonky!
