id say youd see that this week unless heath comes in for stevens instead of JM, granted that stevens got little game time but we need a more serious ruck option!

To those criticizing LRT - give the kid a break . He's doing all right and we can only expect better things to come as his skills improve and he gets more games under his belt

You've got to remember he's only played AFL for three years or so after being a rugby union player at school (and no despite my "aflconvert" tag I'm not related to him)

The channel 9 nine commentary team payed him a few compliments

LRT played brilliantly in the last stanza. Played like a veteran. What a massive bonus going into the finals.

I dont believe anyone has praised LRT yet for a couple of great contested marks. This guy may not yet have great disposal, but he has a pretty safe pair of hands. His contests in the ruck were solid enough to allow us to be competitive. And I don't even think Willo or Cressa got the ball as much as he did in the 2nd half.

How can anyone criticise that effort - it's like kicking a baby for falling over the first time it takes a step.

LRT tried valiantly today, and nearly turned it in the last quarter into an unlikely victory... if a goal umpire had done his job properly, who knows we may have even won it... The kids played really well today...the Schneiderman was electrifying when he came on and LRTs marking and rucking in the final quarter freed up Goodsie...who nearly did make the difference!!!
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

I thought he did great considering his infancy at AFL level. He'll get better.

And I can see where Reggi is coming from too at this stage of the year. But the learning curve has been steep and due credit to the players and coaching staff. We are a top 4 side and we deserve to be. COME ON SWANS!
