I thought it was a thing with the socks and Cressa playing or not playing....but now I KNOW it is me.... For the first half I wasn't wearing my "lucky" swannies scarf (circa 1986) while watching it on the box....at half time I retrieved it from the footy accoutrements bag in the closet...and hey presto change of fortune!!!

I'll put my hand up too. I have a Swans rug I made. It goes to every game with me and is on the lounge when watching on TV. I didn't have it out until half time.

gee thanks everyone for sharing this around...I feel a lot better now...my "lucky" scarf will definitely be worn at all games from now on -- both at the ground and while box watching...

I have a dilemma now though. The "lucky" scarf has only rarely been washed for fear of washing off the good luck (as opposed to my "unlucky" black swans polo -- hated it cos it looked more bombers than swans-- which has been washed to B*g**y). Shd I wash the scarf to get the whites white again and the reds vibrant but run the risk of the luck going down the plughole...???
