from what Nicko18 said, it looks like a big one. 37 891 is my guess. I know we're contributing an extra 2 than normal, just to tip it over the 37 890 mark

They are expecting 60,000+ for the wobbles game at Telstra Stadium and a sell out for any final
- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!
Theoretically the capacity at the SCG is now about 46,000. I don't think we'll get that, still too many members not bothering to turn up.
I reckon 38,000 - or thereabouts. Anything 35,000 and over would be acceptable IMHO considering averages so far.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out.... Des' Weblog
One thing that might put a slight dampener on the crowd is that the City to Surf is on the next morning. At least it's better than previous years when a game has been played on the Sunday afternoon after the CTS. 4 people I'm going to the game with will be rushing away straight away afterwards to get an early night before the "big race". It's possible a few regulars will give the game a miss, particularly if they live some way out from the SCG.
Originally posted by TheHood the other "dampener" may be the weather.
damn my friend's from tamworth. always rains when they hit town.
Unfortunatelly, they might really bring rain on Saturday because showers are forcasted for Sydney that evening and more rain on Sunday, so it's gong to be a wet weekend there. Bring your brollies!
