    If Hawks Go Tall?

    Rumours are:

Everitt back and will go forward with Loats staying in the ruck
Barker back, probably from the bench given his down time
Holland back and will go straight to the square from the bench

    What will we do?

Goodes (share ruck with LRT and go down back and drag a tall around with no Hay in the team?)

LRT (share ruck with Goodes but will he stay on and be tried in a defensive role?)

James (love to see him back and stuck on a tall and run that tall ragged, this kid can rack up the touches when he wants to)

Meiklejohn (will he crack selection this week?)

    Who will play where?

Fingers crossed last week's loss has sapped the Hawks of their confidence and initiative. I would dearly love a percentage booster especially since I am starting the Maggies as favourites against the Lions this weekend.

Our biggest problem, and we saw this last time (and plenty of other times), is if the Hawks have a tall forward line and gain some confidence.

Roosey did mention that the team would probably remain unchanged.

Isn't 3 Hawks very short on match practice a massive bonus for us????????

Correct weight Dawson. Besides when we played them at the MCG it was a very dewy ground and we were at the bottom of our form, and then only lost in the last quarter.

Our skills were atrocious and we are now 10 times the team we were then, but then again they had a few out.

Also Crawford is carrying an injury.

Although short of match practice, all 3 talls are back in, however I expect Holland will be there in an attempt to cover for the loss of Hay.

Look out for a last minute replacement however all 3 will be keen to play a bit given they now have nothing to lose.

An interesting call will be the tag on Hodge for his first match on the SCG. He may have even have a run-with role on one of our guys.

              I rate him, he's a fiestly little b_ _ _ _ _ _d.
